JC Kickstar ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, book a call, or engage in 1:1 coaching with us. It is written with reference to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. Information We Collect

- Coaching and health information: training history, fitness goals, injuries, medical conditions, body measurements, nutrition habits, and progress data you share with us as part of coaching. This is sensitive information under the APPs and is treated with additional care.
- Payment information: processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not directly store full card numbers.
- Communications: messages, emails, and check-in responses you send us.
- Website usage data: pages visited, general location (country/region level), device and browser type, collected via standard web analytics and cookies.
2. How We Collect Information
We collect personal information directly from you, for example when you book a call, complete an intake form, message us, or use our coaching platform. We may also collect limited technical information automatically through cookies and analytics tools when you browse our website.
3. Why We Collect and Use Your Information
- To provide and personalise 1:1 coaching, training programs, and nutrition guidance.
- To communicate with you about your coaching, bookings, and account.
- To process payments and manage billing.
- To improve our website, content, and services.
- To send you marketing communications, where you have consented, and always with the ability to opt out (see clause 6).
- To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We only collect sensitive information (such as health information) that is reasonably necessary for coaching, and only with your consent, given by providing that information to us as part of the coaching relationship.
4. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose personal information to:
- Trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as payment processors, scheduling tools (e.g. Calendly), community and coaching platforms (e.g. Skool), email providers, and website/hosting infrastructure.
- Professional advisers (accountant, legal counsel) where necessary.
- Government or regulatory bodies where required by law.
- A new owner, if JC Kickstar is sold or restructured, subject to that party agreeing to protect your information consistently with this policy.
5. Overseas Disclosure
Some of the third-party platforms we use to run JC Kickstar (for example, hosting, scheduling, community, and payment tools) may store or process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate security and privacy safeguards. By using our Services, you acknowledge that some personal information may be handled overseas as described in this clause.
6. Direct Marketing
We may send you marketing communications (such as coaching tips, offers, or updates) where you have opted in or where you are an existing client and marketing relates to similar services. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.

Under APPs 12 and 13, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request correction if it is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete. 11. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without parental or guardian consent, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.

If you believe we have breached the APPs or mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at jckickstar@outlook.com so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
